English singer-songwriter Grace Davies has released her new song titled “Already Gone (Live At St. Pancras Old Church)” from her new project.

“Already Gone (Live At St. Pancras Old Church)” is a track from Grace Davies’ third EP titled “It Wasn’t Perfect, But We Tried”.

Born February 1, 1997, Grace Davies is an independent artist, previously signed to SYCO Music (Sony) before the label’s demise in 2020.

Grace Davies is best known for her original song “Roots”, which she performed during her first audition on the fourteenth series of The X Factor in 2017, where she came in second place, mentored by Sharon Osbourne.

On January 12, 2018, Davies confirmed that he had signed with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Music. In September 2019, Grace Davies and Tokio Myers guest starred on America’s Got Talent along with Stewart Copeland, performing “Safe and Sound”, written by Tokio Myers with the voice of Grace Davies.

On January 24, 2020, Davies announced that his debut single will be called “Invisible”. The song was released on January 31, 2020. On March 13, 2020, Davies announced his second single called “Addicted to Blue” which was released on March 20, 2020.

On the same day, he announced the release of his debut extended play, titled Friends with the Tragic, which was released on June 26, 2020.

“Amsterdam” was released as the third single from the EP on May 1, 2020. “Just a Girl” was released as the fourth and final single from the EP on June 26, 2020 along with the EP and official music video. The EP debuted on the UK iTunes charts at number 52.

After his Syco label ceased operations, Davies announced his first independent single called “I Met a Boy Online”. The song was released on February 19, 2021.

On March 26, 2021, Davies released a cover of The Goo Goo Dolls’ song “Iris”. On May 28, 2021, Davies released the song “testosterone”.

“Toothbrush” was released on July 23, 2021; it was the first song he did that he got a production credit on. She fought to get a proper production credit on the song because she was “determined to have [her] name on the door in every aspect of [her] music.”

He called his co-producer Marcus Andersson a “genuine guy with genuine talent”, as well as revealing that LANY’s “Thru These Tears” was a key inspiration for the song.

On August 4, 2021, Janet Devlin announced that Davies will be supporting her on her Confessional Tour. On August 27, 2021, Davies released the song “used to you”.

On October 8, 2021, Davies released his X Factor audition song “roots”, along with its official video. It is Davies’ first official UK chart song to reach number 89.

On November 26, 2021, Davies released his second extended play, I wonder if you’re wondering, along with the song “somebody”.

On June 24, 2022, Davies announced that he was about to release his song “Wolves” (performed on The X Factor) as the lead single from his upcoming third EP.

The song was later released on July 1, 2022, later that week Grace Davies revealed to an online podcast that this EP would be released in October. On August 19, 2022, Grace Davies released the song “Already Gone”.
