The mobile app makes it easier and more convenient for port users to monitor and manage their shipments at ICTSI’s Philippine ports: Manila International Container Terminal, Puerto Norte (Port North Manila domestic terminal), Subic Bay International Terminal Corp. and Mindanao Container Terminal, by facilitating access to real-time shipping information directly from the terminal in question.

Mobile app coverage will soon expand to other ICTSI terminals in Asia Pacific, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

With the app, customers can place ships, containers and trucks on a watch list and subscribe to status notifications via email or SMS for timely updates. ICTSI said this eliminates conflicting and late information that could lead to less optimal logistics planning and increased costs.

“By providing 24/7 real-time visibility, we are empowering port users to better plan their logistics and make more sound business decisions that reduce costs. We are opening the door for businesses to become more efficient in the same way that we are constantly improving our efficiency to better serve our customers,” said Brian Hibbert, ICTSI Group Chief Information Officer.

ICTSI has previously said that its latest innovation is the result of a multi-year investment in an advanced underlying global digital platform that consolidates data and services across the ICTSI Group. It also enables the company to offer an advanced omnichannel experience to port users.
